Young Lions is the crème de la crème of creative advertising competitions.

If you don’t know, let me explain: In the first round, we receive a brief that attracts over 700 applicants from all over Australia, all vying for a spot in the top 5. These top 5 teams then face the challenge of the second round, where they have 24 hours to tackle a complex and demanding brief.

We endure this process with the ultimate goal of achieving a gold placement on a national level. And if successful, we take on the global stage at the Cannes Festival of Creativity, ready to tackle another grueling 24-hour brief all over again.

And that’s exactly what my mate Dan and I set out to achieve, and thankfully we succeeded.

We are set to pack our bags this June, and we couldn’t be more fucking excited (pardon my French, i’m practicing)

Brief 2

Create a Tiktok first digital campaign which leverages an innovative and unexpected donation mechanics for Australians to donate to Shoreline. Shoreline is an educational program that provides culturally relevant employment career pathways for young indigenous Australians predominantly in the top end of Australia.

Develop a TikTok-focused campaign that brings to life Virgin Australia’s unique and distinctive ‘bring on wonderful’ brand platform in a way that inspires and uplifts Gen Z and millenial Aussies, who see flights as something to get through rather than something to enjoy.
